Pelaajat approached us to implement their vision of the HUD. It wasn’t a big-scale project - just a list of the improvements they wanted to have in their HUD. While most of them were usual quality-of-life upgrades regarding the readability of the elements or color branding, the request was different - a feature that since the beginning of the HUDs in the CS:GO broadcasting world was used by only one organization. It was the option to use different images for the player for specific situations. Usually, these kinds of additions are very hard to implement and are bound to infrastructure-modifying upgrades to the whole system.
